Synopsis:

    The film was produced by The National Film Board of Canada. The film reflects a ordinary poor family live along the Yangtze, the story happened before and after the immigration because of the establish of Three Gorges dam.UP THE YANGTZE reflects the effect to the local people from the Three Gorges dam from the aspects of economic, culture, and livelihood.
